PARP Article Regarding Act 57, Spring 2014
Mr. Alberigi authored an article published in the Spring, 2014 issue of the PARP, the Pa. Association of Rehabilitation Professionals concerning a State Supreme Court decision regarding a change in Act 57. This change affected vocational case manager's practice. It requires vocational case managers to notify claimants of the availability of jobs to be used in a Labor Market Survey, as they are available, in order that a claimant wishes to apply for a job to be cited in the Labor Market Survey. The jobs need to be within physician documented restrictions and within a claimant's vocational capacities.
Mr. Alberigi has served as a vocational case manager in the Pa. Worker's Compensation System from 1993 to present. He is available to case management firms, insurance carriers & claimant's attorneys.
